I had always dabbled in the arts growing up, I then worked as an Art Tecnician in a secondary school, after six years however, I decided it wasnt enough to just assist anymore but felt the urge to immerse myself in it and Amina John was created as a result. I wanted to share my work with the world.

 

Amina John is just what it says, simply art. I aim to put art back in the frame, to invite conversation by making art more accessible.

 

Traditionally art has been confined to a canvas or stuck behind a frame but I want to make my work available in as many forms as posible I have attached it to everyday items like cushions and bags we wear daily and I thought they would make thoughtful as well as beautiful cards to offer in celebration.

My style uses alot of colour and I dont apologise for it, life can be dreary at times, so why not add a touch of vibrance with art inspired everyday items. Check out my products for sale and indulge in the various items for sale.

As well as having a passion for the arts I have also written a novel that will be published soon and I am excited by both of these ventures as I put my heart and soul into everything that I do.
